Get ahead for Christmas with this two-day “Merry & Bright” summer school. Over the two-day course you will learn the easy and effective machine sewn “turned interfacing” method of applique which creates beautiful shapes and involves no hand sewing! You can make a cushion, table runner or lap quilt (or even all three) in time for the festive period this year!
Skills learnt in this workshop include: machine “turned interfacing” applique method, accurate cutting & piecing, adding sashing and borders, machine and hand stitched (optional) applique methods. Finished size of projects: Cushion approx. 18" square, Table Runner approx. 18" x 49", Lap Quilt approx. 55" x 55" square.
Sew and So’s will be on hand with any last-minute needs and will also be providing a delicious cake from Earsham Street Café and a bowl of fresh fruit each day to keep you going!
