MINI WILD HEDGEROW

Working on a hand-dyed unique fabric background (provided) the day will start with some fabric printing using wooden blocks. Flowers and foliage and a preprinted bird if desired, will be cut from bonded fabric and ironed down as raw edge appliqué. The composition can then be finished with hand or machine sewing as preferred. We will make a design approximately 20cm - 30cm square with enough extra fabric to wrap round a deep frame. Kate will demonstrate how to wrap your work onto the frame, or onto a foamboard base. In addition to the requirements Kate will provide a workshop kit, fee £7, payable to Kate on the day.
