FLORAL ‘COLLAGE’ BOWL

Over two afternoons get creative making your own floral fabric collage then shape into a decorative bowl. If you wish you can make your bowl larger than the shop sample. Decide on the sized bowl you wish to make, then cut out floral designs from a range of different fabrics and piece together onto backing fabric using free motion machine stitching around the flowers and shapes, a bit like putting a jigsaw together…. it’s quite intricate using matching threads too.
Once you have created your floral ‘collage’ you will back the piece with a complimentary fabric and seal with satin stitch before forming into a decorative bowl. This is done using a bowl and a secret ingredient to keep its shape.
