We are delighted to welcome back visiting tutor Judi Mendelssohn to Sew and So’s. This time Judi will be teaching a rotary cutting, machine piecing workshop which combines triangles, squares and strips, and split/partial seaming to create a ‘windmill’ effect of the triangles circling the block. This is probably not for complete beginners because you will need good rotary skills and accurate stitching. The example shows light triangles for the windmills, absolutely no reason why you couldn’t create a completely different effect with dark. On the day you will learn how to make the blocks for this quilt and leave with plenty of information to go on and complete the quilt at home.
