Storm at Sea has long been a favourite quilt block of Helen’s – it is so versatile, and you can create many different design motifs by varying the placement of the colours in each section. Helen’s version of this traditional block is made of extremely simple Foundation Paper Pieced parts (for consistent accuracy!) and full tuition for this technique will be included in the workshop. Once quilted, your chosen motif will form one side of this useful zip-top tote which includes a clear PVC panel on the second side. Perfect for keeping all the parts of a project together or make one as a book bag for a youngster. Each student will receive a full set of instructions, with colour photographs and diagrams, to complete/repeat the project at home. This is a machine sewing class. Finished size: approx. 14 x 14 inches.
