SINGLE-SIGNATURE HARDBACK NOTEBOOK

Make an A5 size hardback notebook with beautiful fabric covers. The notebook will contain 20 pages (40 sides) of unlined white writing paper and have a spine made from grey bookcloth. Students will be taught bookbinding techniques as well as how to use bookbinding tools. At the end of the workshop each student should have a finished notebook and will also be given materials and instructions to make a second notebook at home. A degree of manual dexterity is required for punching holes, but Suzy is happy to carry this out for those who unable to.
In addition to the fabric requirements there will be a small charge of £5, payable to Suzy on the day, for board, bookcloth, paper and thread.
