Starting at the end of April, this lap sized, Sampler Quilt is the perfect course for beginners or, those that are not sure about sampler courses and would like to “dip their toe in the water”.
11-week course on Monday afternoons (April – July)

Designed by Carolyn James, who specialises in teaching Patchwork and Quilting to absolute beginners, this course is a great introduction to the wonderful world of Patchwork and Quilting. This fun course, jam packed with tips and techniques, is a complete course for the absolute beginner to this craft - from cutting fabric, learning to sew patchwork blocks, quilting and binding – you will learn a variety of patchwork skills in addition to using the correct tools and equipment which will help you to achieve consistent results. At the end of the course, you will have a beautiful quilt and the confidence and knowledge to build on the skills you have learnt.
