Discover with Wendy the joy of knitting in this six-day course spread over June and July, designed to take you from absolute basics to confident knitting. Whether you have never picked up needles before or want to refresh your skill, this workshop will guide you through essential techniques, stitches and small projects to build your confidence. We hope to make a scarf within the course too!
You will learn to:
Understand yarn, needles and tension, cast on and work the knit stitch, learn the purl stitch and how it combines with the knit stitch, knit garter and stocking stitch, fix dropped stitches, increasing and decreasing, reading basic patterns and understanding abbreviations and much more!
