How do we keep your information private and secure?
  • Sew and So’s ask for as little personal information as we can  in order to fulfil orders made eg email address, full name, identifying numbers, credit/debit card numbers etc.
  • We do not disclose information to third parties unless holding your information highlights unlawful activity.
  • All information is collated in accordance with the General Data Regulation Act 2017 (from May 2018)
  • If you delete your account, we will delete the information as soon as reasonably possible.
What is our Returns Policy?
  • Sew and So’s want you to be totally happy with your purchases. If you wish to return an item because it has a part faulty or missing, notify us within 5 days of receipt of the goods and we will forward the missing item or replace the faulty item.  If the fault is deemed to be with Sew and So’s then we will pay the postage costs for return of the goods. When we receive the goods we will inspect the goods and make a decision on with whom there is fault. Sale or ex demo items are non refundable or returnable. Workshop bookings are non refundable.
  • Sometimes people change their mind.  If this is the case and you wish to have a refund, please contact us within 30 days of receipt of the goods.  You will be liable for the return of the goods in the same condition as when bought, if this is not the case then unfortunately we will be unable to refund your money. We cannot accept returns when packaging has been damaged, goods cut or partially used
  • We will do our best to respond within a 10 day, from receipt of the returned goods, timeframe
  • Refunds can take up to 6 days to appear in a returned bank account

Always :

  • Get proof of posting from the Post Office when returning goods as this will be asked for if an item does not arrive at the company address (it is free)
  • Include your order reference number, name and address
  • Contact Sew and So’s if you are unsure on procedure and we will advice you accordingly
Terms & Conditions

By using the website you are accepting the Terms and Conditions (T&C) of the company and website and agree to be bound by them.  If you disagree with the T & C please do not use the website or enter into a purchasing contract with the company.

  • All purchases adhere to the company T & Cs
  • We want you to be absolutely happy with us and T & Cs help to give total clarity of how we work together
  • Title of the goods does not pass over until the goods have been paid for in total
  • Delivery of the goods can be in the hands of a third party and as such cannot be held responsible when a third party fails to meet a deadline for delivery.  A delivery date is only an estimation . 
  • Prices are as per website and are paid before delivery.  Customers are invoiced at the time of the purchase and payment made.
  • Cancellation of orders are in accordance with Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
  • Sew and So’s reserve the right to withdraw, change or substitute fabrics without prior notice and will always replace with an equally high quality fabric.

We hope to despatch the order on the same business day (Monday to Friday) for orders received before 3pm and the next business day for orders received after 3pm.

Tracked – 24hours
We aim to despatch the same business day (Monday to Friday) for orders received before 3pm and the next business day for orders received after 3pm. Your goods will be despatched using Royal Mail tracked 24 hrs services that guarantees delivery on the day after despatch (by Monday if despatched on a Friday). It is available to most areas of the UK. Special delivery is not available for same day despatch on Saturday or Sunday.

 

We are generally able to dispatch orders which are placed before 3pm  by close of day, whilst we are not involved in higher than normal shop days.  High volume days such as sales, exhibitions and Christmas can affect the dispatch time.

 

We use Royal Mail for most parcels and courier services for larger, bulkier items.
