This fun workshop will introduce you to using mixed media to create your own unique piece of artwork. Bev will also demonstrate how to use an embellishing machine to make the felted base for your seascape. If you have an embellisher, bring it along, but don’t worry if you haven’t, you can borrow Bev’s, Sew and So’s will also have one on loan for the day. Once felted stitch a selection of sea-coloured threads, scraps of fabric and lace, tiny bits of driftwood, tiny shells, beads, sea glass etc. into the base to create your embellished seascape.
Attaching your finished artwork to a lovely piece of flat driftwood will give it the perfect finishing touch. So, make the most of the glorious weather this summer and get beach combing for the workshop now!
