JAPANESE BINDING DISPLAY ALBUM

Make an A4 size display album with beautiful fabric covers. Use it to display photos of all your sewing creations, or anything you like! The album will be bound with ribbon, using traditional Japanese stitching. You’ll be taught bookbinding techniques as well as how to use bookbinding tools. At the end of the workshop, you’ll be provided with a handout to show you how to sew more complex Japanese stitches. A degree of manual dexterity is required for punching holes, but the tutor is happy to carry this out for those unable to. This workshop is suitable for beginners.
