You’ve made a beautiful patchwork quilt top but how do you complete the quilting and binding? This workshop will teach you how to create a wrinkle-free quilt sandwich, then how to quilt using a walking foot and finally adding the binding. You will be working on a sample quilt in the workshop to develop your quilting skills and confidence.
Skills taught to include:
Layering the quilt top, wadding, and backing fabric to create the “quilt sandwich”.
Using marking tools to create a quilting design.
Simple Walking Foot quilting techniques.
Preparing standard quilt binding and attaching the quilt binding by hand and machine.
