Skill level: Confident beginners onwards
An introduction to the gentle art of HARDANGER EMBROIDERY – a series of traditional Scandinavian decorative stiches with cut-thread sections. During the workshop you will work through up to six basic stitches (time dependant) which combine together to create the beautiful bookmark shown. You will also look at other designs to give an idea of how to create your own projects. Each student will receive a full set of instructions, with colour photographs and diagrams, to complete the project at home. This is a hand sewing class.
