MIXED MEDIA AND TEXTILE ART ‘TASTER DAY’ WITH BEV HARRISON – MONDAY, 10 AUGUST 2026

Interested in mixed media and textile art but unsure where to begin? Have you been inspired at textile art exhibitions and would like to try it for yourself. Book a Mixed Media and Textile Art taster session at Sew and So’s on Monday the 10th of August.
Join tutor Bev Harrison in the Sew and So’s studio for a morning, afternoon, or full day of creative exploration. Bev will lead mini lessons in both sessions, giving you an idea of the techniques taught in her classes and workshops. Examples of Bev’s and her student’s finished work and works in progress will also be on display.
As a special treat for everyone attending the taster sessions Sew and So’s will give new students a £10 voucher towards Bev’s Wednesday Mixed Media and Textile class. This afternoon class is ideal for anyone who enjoys combining sewing and art. It offers a welcoming space to explore ideas, share inspiration, experiment, and develop your own creative style. You can join in with one of Bev’s projects, learn a new technique, try something different, or work on your own project at your own pace, with Bev on hand to advise and encourage you. All levels are welcome – please enquire at the shop.
