RUG MAKING A two-day workshop with Wendy Ruffles.
Friday and Saturday, 14 15 August 2026. £78 10 am to 3:30 pm each day. All levels
Rug making is a relaxing, creative craft using rug canvas, wool, and latch hooking. Create your own simple design taking inspiration from a picture, geometric pattern, or a more abstract idea, then choose, prepare and cut your wool before you begin. You’ll start with a small project, but the skills learnt can easily be used for larger pieces if you get hooked! These small rugs can be turned into cosy cushion fronts or make wonderful textural wall hangings.
Sew and So’s will be on hand with any woolly needs and will also be providing a delicious cake from Earsham Street Café and a bowl of fresh fruit each day to keep you going!
