Create this stained-glass effect scene of Deer Park, it’s a lot easier to make than it looks, and the final stages can be completed either by hand or with a sewing machine. For this project Pam used a fabric range available at Sew and So’s called Cottage Cloth, which has a lovely linen look to it. Something similar, fabrics of your choice or from your stash would work just as well. For the sample Pam chose autumnal colours and gold bias binding but an alternative with perhaps blues and silver binding would look just as stunning. The laying down of the various sections uses a quick method and doesn’t require any special sewing skills which means that the whole project is suitable for beginners. The finished picture measures 26” x 18”.
