REFRESHER DRESSMAKING COURSE

Time: 10 am – 3:30 pm each day
Skill level: For those that haven’t done any dressmaking or sewn for a while or, have lost their confidence
Jan will take you through reading a pattern, sewing machine techniques: choosing the right foot and stitch for the job, zip techniques, seaming alternatives, fabric handling and hemming a variety of fabrics. There will be plenty of top tips and advice over the three days.
NB: This course is not for complete beginners. Although Jan will cover some basics, it will be assumed you know your way around a sewing machine.
