The aim of this workshop is to introduce you to Fabric Collage, a method of creating fabric pictures that can be used in many ways – cushions, bags, quilts, decorating clothing, in fact the uses are endless, just use your imagination and personalise anything! This workshop is suitable for anyone who is keen to explore a new approach.
Jane has put together a range of designs to choose from depending on your preference and experience. The Daisies and Japanese Lady are fairly straightforward. The Spaniel is more involved and may need to be completed at home having learnt the technique during the workshop. All designs are suitable for someone with little or no experience of fabric collage, albeit the Spaniel requires patience as some pieces are fiddly. All designs will require finishing at home depending on what you wish to do with your collage.
