LUTRADUR LANTERN

Create a delicate filigree style lantern to be displayed around a glass vase and with a battery candle inside. Using Lutradur spunbond fabric you will stitch then colour with transfer dyes and add foiling before burning and soldering*. There will be a selection of colourways to choose from and the option to use straight stitching or free motion stitching.
*This technique may not be suitable for those with breathing problems
There is a small charge of £6.00 to cover materials to include: lutradur, Bondaweb, Transfoils, Transfer dyes, Copier paper and the use of paints, brushes, soldering irons and heat guns. This is payable to Mary on the day.
You will also need a glass vase – Mary says these are available from Habitat/Sainsburys for £6 or she can supply at cost if ordered in advance.
