AN INTRODUCTION TO FOUNDATION PAPER PIECING (aka FPP)

Suitable for absolute beginners – some sewing machine experience would be helpful.
This workshop is aimed at students who have either never tried this amazingly versatile technique before, or those who would like a refresher course. You will make two simple 4 x 4-inch blocks, which can be turned into coasters or greetings cards after the class. Each student will receive a full set of instructions, with colour photographs and diagrams, so you can repeat and practise the project at home. This is a machine sewing class. PLEASE NOTE: There will be a £5 kit charge payable in cash on the day of the workshop – this will provide you with all the fabric you need for one each of the ‘pencil’ and ‘star’ blocks you will work on during the class.
